Today's product development engineers must work digitally in collaborative teams to understand and trace the relationships of product function, logical design, requirements, and physical parts as designs change/evolve throughout the lifecycle. Motivation for System Engineering
Product success requires meeting or exceeding the customer expectations typically captured as VOC (Voice of the Customer) as well as other Stakeholder input. VOC and Stakeholder input finds its way to features, then requirements, which at each level of the design are balanced with design parameters. One group’s design parameter becomes another group’s requirement, and those requirements need to be verified by a variety of methods and tracked over the life of the project. Traceability from the VOC/Stakeholder input to the final validation is required to ensure success while project status needs to be current and easily available for everyone involved in the project. Engineers need to define requirements, establish a bill of material(BoM), trace relationships, verify status against targets in one easy to use software tool.

We have two modules developed in Microsoft® .NET 4.5 Framework. XLSE for authoring OMG™ SysML compliant system models and XL1D for authoring and simulating detailed 1D multi-physics systems models. Both XLSE and XL1D are supported by the XLDyn SE Server™. XLDyn technology is covered by four approved U.S. Patents, plus one pending. XLDyn provides the most integrated and easy to use MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) software for product design and has the wide range of functionality needed for Product Development
